The state of rhino conservation in SA - Rekord interviews Braam
Two fully grown rhinos and an unborn calf were recently killed and cruelly dehorned at the Rietvlei nature reserve.
This casts a gloomy shadow on rhino conservation efforts in South Africa and especially on the city’s ability to manage the reserve.
Rekord asked Braam Malherbe how best to protect South Africa’s rhinos and for his views on the war against rhino poaching.
